The Sri Surya Das Dharma Flame Talisman

In 2005, my wife helped me decide to change careers.  I had just interviewed for a medical director's job in Charlotte NC.  Late that night after the interview, I heard a voice that awakened me from a deep sleep. The voice was clear, crisp, and very distinct. The words ring resoundingly in my mind every day of my life:

"You may continue to beat yourself against the wall of human suffering, or rise above it, and become a teacher of men."

Kathy and I talked about those words and the ramifications of leaving my thriving medical practice.  We realized that The Creator had spoken his Word and that his Will was now evident in our lives.  Five months later, we closed my medical practice, sold our home, and moved 2000 miles across country.  We opened a spiritual center and began to practice a new kind of spiritual medicine.  Within a couple of years, people all over the world found out about our work.  Reports of miracles of many varieties began to pour in from hundreds of people.  There were times that we thought about doing something different, but the miracles kept us going.

We learned that the Work that we had accepted was part of the Dharma.  Many religions, including Hinduism, Taoism, and Buddhism, accept the concept of reincarnation, and what determines the state of an individual in the next existence is karma which refers to the actions undertaken by the body and the mind.

In order to achieve good karma it is important to live life according to dharma, choices and behaviors which lead to the light. This involves doing what is right for the individual, the family, the planet and also for the universe itself. Dharma is like a cosmic current of energy and if one goes against the current, it can result in bad karma. Dharma affects the future according to the karma accumulated. Therefore one's dharmic path in the next life is the one necessary to bring to fruition all the results of past karma.

Some time ago, a good friend of mine, Dr. Pillal gave me a title in the service of the Dharma.  That title refers to my devotion to the service of the Creator and my devotion to the Sun.  That title is "Sri Surya Das".  For the past four years, only a few of my closest followers have been aware of this title.

The Sri Surya Das Dharma Flame Talisman allows our followers to connect with the Dharma Flame that my wife and I have devoted our lives to.  The amulet is imbued with the power of the dharma, and enables the user to connect with the Light that we have devoted our lives to.  In the amulet, you see me holding an empty cup.  This signifies my devotion to seeking Light and enlightenment with an open and enquiring mind.  My clothing is that of an Initiate.  I stand with the Power of the Dharma Flame in all things, and this fact is reflected in the flame of the amulet.

The Sri Surya Das Dharma Flame Talisman is accompanied by the Guru Mantra which I have been given in a vision by the Creator.  A Guru Mantra is a Name of God, mantra, number, or a word given by a Teacher/Guru to His disciples/followers for the purpose of his/her spiritual growth toward attaining God-realization.  In most cases, a Guru Mantra contains a particular Name of God specific to the Dharma path chosen by the Teacher.  God-realization is the highest spiritual experience that a person can have.  It occurs when he/she realizes continuous oneness with the Supreme Principle of The Creator and the bliss that accompanies this state.

Placing the Talisman on your altar or in your home helps you connect with the new Dharma Flame Path created by the lives and works of my wife and I.  This dharmic energy will help you:

Increase the energy of the dharma in your life

Allow closer connection in meditation and prayer

Connects the user with the power of miracle that we serve

Enhances and deepens your connection with the Creator

Allows for stronger and more powerful prayers

Proceeds from the sale of this Talisman will help us build a larger spiritual center and provide a wider variety of services for our followers.  We thank you for your support.
